URI Attack (The Untold Story)
On this day on 18 September 2016,
the local headquarters of the Indian
Army was attacked by terrorists in
the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
In which 19 soldiers of the army were
martyred. The terrorists carried out
the incident when the army were resting
in their room. At the same time,
all the four terrorists were killed
in the retaliatory action by the army
Jaish-e-Mohammed was said to be behind
this attack.
WHAT HAPPENED IN URI CAMP
Four Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists
attacked the Army Headquarters at Uri
Camp in Jammu and Kashmir at 5.30 am
How terrible the attack was, you can
guess from this that the terrorists
threw 17 hand grenades in just 3
minutes. 18 soldiers of the army
were martyred in this attack. Along
with the army, the terrorists had a
fierce encounter for 6 hours and in
the end all the four terrorists were
killed. This was the biggest terrorist
attack on the Indian Army in 20 years.

SURGICAL STRIKE TOOK REVENGE
Exactly 10 days after the Uri attack
, i.e. on 28-29 September, the Indian
Army entered Pakistan and carried out
A surgical strike. This was the first
time by the army when an operation was
carried out against the terrorists by
entering the enemy's house. 150
commandos of the army were involved
in this operation. Army personnel
entered 3 km inside Pakistan Occupied
Kashmir (PoK) with full planning and
ompletely destroyed the hideouts of
the terrorists.
38 Terrorists Killed
Special commandos had entered PoK with
full planning. The soldiers had
targeted to destroy a total of 6
camps of terrorists living in PoK.
At the same time, 3 of these camps
were completely destroyed during the
attack. In this attack, 38 terrorists
were killed by the army. Apart from
this, 2 soldiers of Pakistan Army were
also killed. At the same time, two
soldiers of Indian Para Commandos were
completely injured in this operation.
The army started this operation at
12.30 pm and ended at 4.30 am.
Operation was monitored from Army
Headquarters
A dinner party was organized so that
no one came to know about the operation
But the then Defense Minister Manohar
Parrikar, NSA Ajit Doval (AJIT DOVAL
and then Army Chief General Dalbir
Singh Suhag instead of going to dinner,
all three went straight to the Army
Headquarters at 8 pm. From where he was
keeping a close watch on the action
being taken by the army all night.
At the same time, information about
this operation was also being
continuously given to Prime Ministe Modi.
